AIR PLANT (Tillandsia)

A Fern and Fossil favorite! This interesting plant is popular for so many reasons. One of the most intriguing qualities of the Tillandsia plant is that it does not need soil to grow and thrive! There are over 650 different species of air plants and can be found anywhere from tropical floors to deserts, to the tops of the Andes. Tillandsia’s are beautiful and amazingly versatile for home and gardening décor.

Plant care: Moderate

Lighting: Bright indirect light in the winter. Indirect filtered light in the summer

Temp: 50-90

Watering: Soak for 20-30 minutes once every 4 weeks. Allow to dry on paper towel for 4 hours.

Alternate watering option: Mist once a day no less than 4 times a week.
