Discover the beauty of shibori, a series of Japanese resist dye techniques, which creates unique patterns on fabric by folding, binding, and sewing.

Participants will produce an array of designs dyed in beautiful indigo. Each participant will be provided with practice fabric and a flour sack towel to dye.

Participants may also bring 1 item from home to dye, which must be white/light colored, pre-washed, and 100% natural fiber (ie cotton, linen, wool, or silk t-shirt, onesie, scarf, etc).

Gloves, aprons, etc will be provided, but please wear clothing that can get dirty.
